About the CHEC
The Collin Higher Education Center (CHEC) is a partnership among five universities and Collin College. Courses leading to baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral degrees are offered by the partner universities at the CHEC. Permission to open CHEC was granted by The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) in October of 2009 and the facility opened in January 2010.
