FAFSA applications for 2007-2008 will be available online beginning January 2, 2006. Complete your 2006-2007 FAFSA by the priority deadline of April 15, 2006.
Checklist for Completing the 2007-2008 FAFSA
- Read all FAFSA instructions carefully.
- Failure to complete the entire FAFSA will delay the processing of your file.
- Complete the application accurately
When filling out the FAFSA, be sure to:
- Use your correct social security number (SSN)
- Note: Your name should match the name on your social security card. If you had a name change, be sure to update your social security card with the Social Security Administration (SSA).
- Complete the entire application.
- List the UNT Title IV school code. The number is 003594.
- Indicate where you will be living by completing the Housing plans.
- Sign the certification in Step Seven with appropriate signatures.
- Respond promptly to requests for additional information.
- Keep copies of all documents and correspondence.
