University of North Texas Grant (UNTG) and University of North Texas Tuition Grant (UNTTG)

Procedures, Forms

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Renewal Application.

UNT Priority Dates

Priority dates are June 1/October 1/April 1. Applications considered on the basis of available funds after the priority dates.

Selection Criteria

Based on established financial need. Requires half-time enrollment. Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirements must be met. UNT Tuition Grant program requires Texas residency. Both grant programs awarded to undergraduate and graduate students.

Continued Eligibility

Students must maintain at least half-time enrollment, continue to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirements and continue to demonstrate financial need.

Repayment

Based on university repayment policy (see Refunds and Repayments for more info).

Amount of Awards

Based on established financial need and availability of funds. Average award is $600 per academic year or unmet need.

Payment

Money is disbursed to the student's account once each semester.
