Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Renewal Application.
UNT Priority Dates
Priority dates are June 1/October 1/April 1. Applications considered on the basis of available funds after the priority dates.
Selection Criteria
Based on established financial need. Requires half-time enrollment. Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirements must be met. Requires Texas Residency. LEAP awarded to undergraduate students.
Continued Eligibility
Students must maintain at least half-time enrollment, continue to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirements and continue to demonstrate financial need.
Repayment
Based on university repayment policy (see Refunds and Repayments for more info).
Amount of Awards
Based on established financial need and availability of funds as determined by state guidelines.
Payment
Money is applied to student account once each semester.
