With My UNT, you can swap one class for another to make sure that you have added the second class before you drop the first class.
To swap classes,
Click the For Students tab.
Click the Register for ... link. View image

Click the term for which you want to swap a class.
Scroll to the bottom of your schedule.
Click the Swap Classes link.
At this point, you can either swap a
To look up the class number for the main class you'd like to swap,
Click
next
to the class you'd like to swap for another class.
Type the subject area and catalog number of the new class. View image

Click Search .
Click the Class
Details icon
to see important notes about
the class. More

If you do not want to add the class after you have seen its details, click the Search Results link near the top of the page to return to the list of classes. |
Click
beside the class you would like to swap.
Click Submit, and you will have swapped one class for another.
Related component of that main class (e.g., a lab or recitation)
You cannot swap a related component directly for another component. Instead, you need to re-ad the main class so you can find the Class Enrollment Options screen again. To find this screen again,
Click
next to the main class.
Type the subject area and catalog number of the main class. View image

Click Search.
Note the section number of the new lab or recitation. More info

You will need to remember this section number to choose the section from a list later. |
Click
to the left of the main class.
Click
beside the Related Component 1 box.
Click the section number of the class you noted in step 4 above.
Click OK.
Click Submit.
Make sure the Swap Status column says “Success.” More info
